Every year, thousands of dogs across Canada face neglect, abandonment, and abuse. Many of these helpless animals are left to fend for themselves in the harshest conditions, while others languish in overcrowded shelters, waiting for a loving home that may never come. At Dog Rescue Canada, our mission is to give every dog a second chance at life—no matter their age, breed, or background.

We are proud to launch this crowdfunding campaign with a goal of raising CAD $100,000 to support our vital work in rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs across Canada. This campaign is organized by Petson Project, a dedicated team of animal lovers committed to making a real difference for dogs in need.

Why Your Support Matters

Your generous donation will directly impact the lives of hundreds of dogs by supporting our efforts in four critical areas:

1. Rescues and Emergency Response:
We work closely with shelters, animal control, and rural communities to identify dogs in urgent need. This funding will allow us to rescue dogs from abusive environments, high-kill shelters, and emergency situations, giving them immediate medical care, food, and shelter.

2. Rehabilitation and Medical Care:
Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive veterinary care, from basic vaccinations to life-saving surgeries. With your help, we can provide each dog with the medical attention they deserve, ensuring they are healthy, happy, and ready for adoption.

3. Fostering and Adoption Programs:
A loving foster home can make all the difference in preparing a dog for adoption. Your support will help us expand our foster network, train foster families, and provide necessary supplies, such as food, bedding, and toys. We’ll also be able to invest in outreach programs to match our dogs with forever homes.

4. Public Education and Advocacy:
Part of our mission is to raise awareness about responsible pet ownership, the importance of spaying/neutering, and preventing animal cruelty. A portion of the funds will go toward community outreach and educational campaigns, creating a better future for all pets in Canada.

With rising costs and an increase in the number of dogs needing rescue, we are stretched thin. Shelters are overwhelmed, and more dogs are at risk of euthanasia than ever before. The COVID-19 pandemic has also led to a surge in pet abandonment. Now is the time to act.
