Story

The Challenge:
Did you know that foster youth are at an alarmingly high risk of experiencing mental health struggles, including suicidal thoughts? Many face instability, trauma, and isolation, with few resources to help them navigate these overwhelming challenges.

The Solution:
We’re launching the Foster Youth Anti-Suicide Campaign to provide free copies of a life-changing book to foster care agencies nationwide. This book is designed to inspire hope, offer strategies for overcoming adversity, and remind foster youth that their lives matter.

“There are many places I have been, very few are called home. You are my home. You’ve been my corner stone through high school, college and beyond. Pulling me out of countless situations with your love and wisdom. Anytime I’ve called on you, you have never hesitated to lend an ear, a hand, or a shoulder. When I think of a love that’s too great to ever be able to repay, I think of the first home I ever truly known. When I go out into the world people are taken aback because of the compassion I give; the love that I share, the very love I’ve been given. The kindness that can’t be taught, only experienced. Not so many are fortunate to have that experience growing up. The impact you have made on my life has changed the lives of people around me because they too can experience what I have. You are my motivation. You are my backbone. You are the reason

I can keep putting one foot in front of the other. Giving has never been an option because I wasn’t taught to give up, you taught me to love without fear of being hurt and give without expectation because blessings are made to be paid forward, and they always find their way back around. Im forever grateful to have been blessed to a part with our family. Like the prodigal child, your back has never turned and your arms remained opened. A thank you has never been enough to express the blessing you have been, not just to me, to all who have the pleasure of being known by you. Thank you.”

Our Goal:
We aim to raise $50,000 to print and distribute 2,500 books to foster care agencies across the country. Every dollar donated will go directly toward spreading hope and saving lives.

How You Can Help:

  • $20 sponsors one book for a foster youth.
  • $100 sponsors five books, empowering an entire group.
  • $500 sponsors a foster care agency, impacting dozens of lives.

Together, we can ensure that no foster youth feels forgotten or unloved.

Why It Matters:
These books aren’t just paper and words—they are lifelines. They provide tools to overcome adversity, stories that resonate, and messages of love and encouragement. By supporting this campaign, you’re directly helping foster youth see the possibilities in their future and believe in their worth.

What We Need:
We need your help to make this campaign a reality. Your support—whether it’s a donation, sharing this campaign with your network, or volunteering—can create a ripple effect of hope and change.

Every Dollar Makes a Difference:
Your contribution can change a life. Imagine the impact of a young person receiving a book at their lowest point and realizing they are not alone. Imagine the hope you can give.

Join the Movement:
Let’s show foster youth that they are seen, loved, and worthy of a brighter future. Together, we can make a difference—one book, one young person, one life at a time.
